Blossoms Ft Ami Hale

not the final mix, put this is just to get the picture, it started off just as instrumental, untill my friend ami decided to sing some words over top.
if you have the time to listen please do :)

Thats a pretty good track. reminds me of The Crystal Method with those vocals in the back.

@brett Nice sounds, the sidechaining takes away alot of the clarity of the vocals at times but other than that its a good start.

@trip liking the sounds, very dark. perhaps the volume on the percussion could do with a little tweaking to make it sit that little bit nicer with the other elements.

really nice overall but i really didnt like that Snare? like seems cut/ stutted off. i was expecting some reverb filth growls? idk why maybe im just thinking of that Reso beat off the Temjin album.

I like the feel of this track. but i understand what trip was saying about the snare. i actually like it though. it kinda adds to the creativity and puts the song on another level IMO. keep it, remove it, either was its a good track. maybe even add a subtle reverb on the high end of it to give it a bit of atmoshpere. keep it up :)

Very flowy, I like it! The lead synth that comes in at about 1:07 is really nice, and the IDM feel that comes in at the drop was pretty dope

New track, almost done but feel that I need to add some layer and remove a few measures. Any ideas would be helpful, I shall return the favor

this might sound harsh but i think u did a better job on ur Sig'd track than this Wip. the mood has a gritty play to it but the bass line is very harsh and metallic but idk if thats what u were going for.

This is cool - I like the shuffley drums, although I'd be tempted to use something with more low end and less high end for the kick and something with more high end for the snare on the halfsteps (or maybe layer in a clap with it.)

Interesting kind of techno-ish vibe with the way it repeats and tweaks and rolls forward with fairly minimal content. I like that, but it'd maybe work well with an extra element - even something pretty sparse - to give it a bit more sense of direction.

Cool intro, really like the little melodic figure, kind of remindss me of FSOL. Although I'd be interesting to see if it's leading up to anything other than the big wobbley drop that seems to be on the horizon...

My turn:
Soundcloud
Bumpin garage with spacey bits and some wonky intermissions. Mostly finished, although I'm probably going to stick a few more little fills and dropouts into the drums and bass, and I've not done anything to tidy up the mix, so any suggestions there would be great. Also, do the switchups between the garagey bits and wonky bits work, or do they sound a bit too out-of-the-blue? I've been working on it for a couple of days, so I've kind of lost the sense of perspective on that...

I actually like it. i like how dirty it is

try adding some oomph to the kick. idk if its just me but it doesnt come through enough.
