enjoying this track alot. I love the epic feel and the intro is really nice.....also like how you changed itup on the second drop.

I don't know if its sound cloud of if its your sub but if you have a wobbs on the sub I say ditch it.

Now I uploaded my tracks put not wobbs on my sub but it kind o gave this grumbling sound that it doesn't give when I just play my tune out of soundcloud

Reworked a little bit of this, still not happy with it though.
Feedback and ideas appreciated.

intro is good really deep and dark with a eariy vibe.......I am not a big fan of that particular kick drum. makes it sound hollow and flat. I think you just need to beef up the kick and snare just a tad since is a subtle dark tune. one thing I noticed is that the progression of the drum arrangment doesn't pick up until the second drop where its a bit more groovy (your hats and what not).

why not add those drums to the first drops

My First Dubstep Track Not Properly Mixed Yet Though.

Any Thoughts On Improving It?

@ we bang - if the song youve just finished is the one in your signature... totally nice vibes mate! feeling it.. i like the mix between the main sound, and the pads... real nice... i like the little 'sort of cheesy' tiny intro at the beginning too haha... good work dude!

Thanks for the feedback. It's not really wobs on the sub, it's more of a vibrato linked to the cutoff. The idea was that when you listen to it on a big sub the sub bass would have a pulsing effect. I personally like it but I'll see how it is without it.

Your track is pretty cool. It's kinda different in a way. It kinda sounds like an 80s synth pop tune with wobbles. The kick is a little low for me, not sure if that's soundcloud or not. Aside from that though, it's got a very "head nodding" vibe to it.

Just a quick update on my previous track. The WIP version will be removed eventually, I've uploaded the final version I think. There's just really not a whole lot I want to do to it now. I like it just how it is so it's probably going to stay like this. So here's the new link for those who still want to check it out. I will probably post in the finished tracks thread as well. I should really just pay for an account so I don't have to upload new files every time.

Intro sounds abit like eurodance , especially the pad in the background. Love the way it drops into those dubstep drums. I don't think you even needed a wobble here, maybe a plain subbass would be best? Anyway I like it ALOT , it's nice to see ppl experiment with other genres too.

Little WIP, used the Swagga acapella, but wanted to make something totally different , so it gives a somewhat 'HUH WTF' effect when I play it in a set :)

Snare needs more punch. Some delay on it will suit this tune I guess.

Bassline sounds a bit dull. Some eq could do the trick.

You use that irie vocal sample a bit too much. Add some new sounds to make it more interesting.

Use some fx to make the drop a bit more booming. (if you know what I mean)

Hats are cool, but they could be a bit more organic (add some funk to it)

This tune has a lot of potential, but there's still a lot of work to do :)

Very nice. I like that you kept the nastyness of the original track that this vocal is so well known for. It would definitely give me a "WTF!" moment had I not been expecting it.

VIP version of Dafalgan. Changed the arrangements, kick, wobble and snare. I also add some new sounds and eq'ed everything a bit. still work to do, but I like to have your thoughts!

Thanks!

@ reignz - lead sound is HEAVY.. i like it... the intro seems abit untidy to me? like not all over the place just abit hard to follow... well i mean, i can follow it, but for those who dont produce music etc, it may be confusing (if you get my drift)... but other than that, i like it alot, as i said i love the main sound!

@ goldorak - the track has potential... but for some reason it just didnt do it for me, it sounds a little empty in places. maybe if it was more full sounding then itd jump out at me! keep at it though, because it definately has potential!

@ redjuan - its a nice feel good track. i mean its not the sort of sound i normally listen to, but i do like the ambience to it!

@ maschination - the track has a weird vibe to it haha, i found myself nodding along to it but at the same time wasnt TOTALLY feeling it... its certainly different! props for that

oh and its getting on my nerves the fact that people are WANTING feedback but not GIVING feedback on other peoples songs.. instead of just posting your song up and expecting feedback, why not take afew moments to have a listen to others music and leave some constructive criticism or a comment on it! since i posted my song up (without giving feedback because i couldnt listen to any songs because of soundcloud), there has been like 5 people posting songs up without giving feedback... i dont mean to sound a dick or anything, but it doesnt hurt to give a helping hand to others. (maybe yous have given feedback on other pages.. i dont know), but yeah....rant over ;)

ok afew of the people posting after me, previously gave feedback... but to the ones that didnt, come on, pull your finger out ;)

Sounds big.

Good bass & Drop.

Start seems a bit long but then perhaps thats what makes the drop decent.

Would like to Hear the Finished version.

i agree with 'We Bang' Quote

i think that kick drum fits in with the track though.
some decent dark sounds on the track as well.
