I want to discover something electronic, similar to Heroin and Your Veins/Bohren & der the club of gore, but not The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble.

I think what I mean is;

More;

The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble

more: s-x, clever hip-hop influence

less: generic snare rolls and 808 kicks, hate.

i love trap music and have for a very long time, before "trap" was a "thing"
s-x was making music before trap was a thing
his music is more diverse, inspired and ruthless than 98% of other "trap" artists

i feel no shame.

This. I have mixed feelings about it becoming a "thing", but it has led to some legitimately good music, ala baauer, s-type, among others.
