Kongkast is back this week with one of our new connections in Hong Kong – [/b]WAYZ (STEAM Recordings / Hong Kong / UK)[/b]. With his recent relocation to one of Asia’s finest cities, Wayz has been tearing up the dance with his signature STEAM Records sounds, and we were lucky enough to have supported him while we were back in Hong Kong earlier this year.

Having been featured on Drum and bass Arena’s podcast which caught the attention of Breakbeat Kao’s DJ Fresh, Wayz is responsible for heavy releases such as “Beyond” on Dogs on Acid, as well as summer anthem “Music in My Mind” with MC Darrison, which came out on Planet Funk in 2009. His tracks have also been featured on; Knowledge Magazine, 1xtra, Radio 1 and now has play support from some of the scene top DJ’s, which include DJ Fresh, Adam F, Annie Mac, Mace, and Nerm.

Pulling us out of the 140 deep paradigm is Montreal's own Krikkitt. A dj, producer and event manager as well as founder of Osiris Prods based out of Montreal, Krikkitt is known for mixing a wide array of psychedelic festival sounds ranging from high BPMs such as psycore, dark forest and dark psy to temple bass, glitch, dub and more. Contributing to our series of guest mixes at Conscious Wave comes a mix comprised of his slower BPM, deep, bass influenced sounds.
