Click on the soundcloud button when your posting a reply then add the link to your tune inbetween the tags and don't forget to get rid of the spaces between the link and the tag.

I'm pretty nervous to actually unveil anything to the cruel internetz so don't be too brutal

any and all other feedback will be appreciated
It's definitely a work in progress and I have a female singer + vocal melodies in mind for it, but I haven't recorded it yet and figured i'd see what anyone thought of it before I went that far.

EDIT- I swear I'm retarded, I can't get the soundcloud link to work...

Leave some feedback if you like! I'd appreciate it. Giving feedback, back aswell.
Really feelin that first track, my only criticisim (bad spelling) would be that the hats/cymbals seem to dominate the track.

haha, Alright! Thanks! glad you like it, and we dont want something too dominating in our tracks ofc. :] Thank you sir ^^

I like the slower wobbles you threw in that didn't seem bpm synced. I think maybe the basshits were a little too loud but... get a second opinion as well lol
nice work though.

Don't really like the Kick-hits, (matter of preference maybe?) and I think they're a little too loud as well, but I really like the sound of the wobbles, that kind of robotic/mechanical kind off sound
I was also noticing that the Sub-bass was taking over a bit much for my taste.
its pretty good start man :] keep it up

the part you've sampled will work really well but you've gotta get the whole thing in time or its just confusing man! theres lots of little pauses and volume changes in the sample too which don't exactly help its clarity...
also, the drum beat youve added feels like it needs less kicks and more swinging percussion to me, i dont know though

Cool track man - any advice on making a synth sound like that one that comes in at 2:02? Very Joker-y

Yeah it needs to be in time I'm confused though, the autowarp in Ableton makes it sound too fast so I timestretch iot and it sounds too slow! I need to consolidate it all and have one set BPM and volume I think.

Cheers! Yeah that's a Korg Polysix, put the cutoff up and play with the modulation wheel on any old synth and you should be able to get a wiggly sound like that.

Don't bother with the autowarp, just set the markets yourself. For trance it wont be too difficult to work out where they go (better yet find out the original bpm of the track and chances are you wont have to warp at all)
If you get a chance any feedback for the track in my sig would be appreciated..

I rather like it, it reminds me of Burial a little. Definitely needs some female vocals, with some sort of effect on them? I'm completely new to production myself, been at it only a few days, so I couldn't tell you what. But it's pretty nice

Well done!

I like this for the most part. I have to agree with Muta, I'm not really feeling the kicks. At least not as they are currently, try layering with an 808 or something maybe? Wobs are spot on, maybe try changing the frequency up a bit. And yeah the sub was a little too resonant at points, but other than that, good work mate!

Love your synth selections and your melodies, good work man! What do you use for your synth work?
This has got that UK Funky/Carnival vibe with the snare arrangement. DIGGING IT MAN! Great work !
