First world problem: Digipak doesn't fit on my CD rack.

horrid is one of the decent ones, the jungle/hardcore ones are an absolute joke

Pray for me is my favourite, huge bassline, nice slow drums.

Also Acension, Memories and Vast emptiness, don't really like some of the others.

I still reckon his best releases are his EP's and not albums.

spent way too much time listening to ragga/jungle/breakbeat hardcore when i was younger, all my friends have been making it since way back when, all went to raves, own big successful soundsystems and club nights, booked people like dj ss, remarc etc.. then you have zomby who talks as if he's the only guy on earth still holding a flame for the jungle massive.. yet nobody ever plays his tunes or talks about them in that scene, might be something to do with the fact they're incredibly bland? mostly just a loop for 2 minutes with the ocasional air horn? for a guy who's apparently been on it since he was ten ( ) his tunes in that style are weak, and i'm a massive fan of his other stuff, one of my favourite producers, it's just when he chats so much shit and doesn't deliver on something that's quite close to my own heart, i'll have that opinion

Have to agree with these tunes. I liked WWUI92, and some of the ones on the Nothing EP. But the ones on this release are particularly lazy (like the rest of the record).

Yeah, Nothing EP is still the best thing he's done in my opinion.

I know I've gone on about the bloody on this album, but that REPEATED use of the same kick and echoed snare/hit noise on so many of the songs seems like such a waste! How lazy can you be?! I wish there was an option to get beatless version of some of them, just the melodies.

I get what people say about his jungle tunes, fair enough if you heard Overdose out you'd go mental, but yeah it's really just a looped tune. and ' 777 ' is just shit because well he gave it away for a year ago, and it sounds so out of place on the album in the way it's mixed/mastered

german magazine "Spiegel" calls him "half wanker, half wonderboy".

Whaaat? I was feeling the one in the With Love music video. What's wrong with em? :?

but overall i have an overall vibe that Zomby just doesn't sound as unique this time around. I still can't get enough of those damn smooth, slicing synths though. He could make 10000 tunes using those same sounds and i'd still dig em, although tbh it feels like he's hopped onto FM8 a bit too much

He doesn't sound scary at all when he's talking about beefing the reviewers, it's funny.

idk i think youre taking them too seriously, obviously hes a tnuc when he acts like he's "the only one holding the flame" or whatever, but i see them as little romanticized snippets of nostalgia. would never play them out cause theyre way too short, but theyre nice and raw and thats the important thing imo
