Yeah I like that mate, can imagine with a biggg juicy sub in there it'd really move especially with a bit of work on the drums (quite like the pattern).

Updated this song again, still a work in progress, hopefully the mixdown is better this time around and any feedback would be great.

The vocals midway through are just so gorgeous. I really need to learn how to cut up and pitch/sample vocals like that. Burial esque. Would love to know how to do it, or at least where to start.. any tips?

Great track : )
Cheers man. I've only started dong it recently myself - I'm working in ableton, so you can take your vocal and then have ableton chop it up in a variety of ways for you (transients etc). So for this I made an 8 bar loop of from the original vocal track, with sections reversed and doubled up etc then sliced it up, so you then effectively have something similar to a .rex loop - then start tinkering with it. Hope this helps :)

Hi peeps just finished this track about British soldiers dieing young in Iraq & Afghanistan.

Its my second track and personally I wish I could make decent noises :(

BUT its for my mate to rap over so will hide the failure in production

Rap & Dubstep, hate if you want :D

Please as much criticism as possible would be gratefully appreciated.

Should I take out my epic fails in grimeyness and just have a nice medolic tune? or try and work on making the noises sound good?

:t:

Nice sounds, like how it builds... I'd personally give the drums more weight, they sound a bit feeble, especially when it builds later.

cheers man,im still developing the track to be honest, really interested to hear what way people think i can improve it,as so far im quite pleased with its sound..thanks for the feedback, anymore takers???

It feels like pretty much every element of the track (bass, drums) is too high. The bass isn't very deep and the drums don't have too much "punch".

Here's my latest WIP:

I'm having trouble deciding whether to work more on the wobble or drop it altogether. I also don't know whether to treat the track as a remix of Left Leg Out or as an original work that alludes to said Mala track.

Hey everyone! :t:

A bit of a harder dubstep/D&B-ish track.

Not sure how to level this one to make it sound best, also struggling for leads that do it justice.
