thats your opinion of a good jungle tune. there is no set formula or criteria of what constitutes a good jungle tune. One of my favourite all time jungle tunes is a very minimal, to the point, masterclass in percussion with very little progression at all.

do u grasp what im saying tho? genre full o' soul and creativity and this guys making the least soulful and uncreative homages to it and then trying to claim that he is the embodiment of jungle

personally think all the hype/ discussion/ personalities can cloud critique/ stop tunes from being taken at face value

jungle trax being made in 2013 arent a patch on some of the classic 93-96 shit seems to be a sentiment here. Hardly a shocker tho isnt it. If tunes aren't as good as the greatest ever in a certain sound, does that mean they can't still be good (albeit lesser) tracks?
To be fair, people aren't even saying that all his jungle tracks are bad (although some of them are, especially the more recent ones), I love 'She Loves Me' and 'She Loves Me Not'. But the bad ones are just stupid bad quality loops and would be considered as such even if we didn't know the producer.

And there's some pretty good jungle/dnb being made 2013 to be fair that I consider good tracks. but a lot of it absolutely pars zombles recent efforts, that's the point.

Listen to this everyday:

The Oslo public library has a bunch of jungle compilations with pretty obscure shit. Got this from there:

Maybe the best choon off Platinum Breakz.

Jungle with soul if there ever was. Top 5 tunes ever material:

...Man, jungle is the best genre of all time. I don't think it's possible to invent better music than this TBH.

Yeah, fair enough but they're all 90s tunes. Don't see anyone repping what they consider better than Zomby's efforts that's fairly recent:

couldn't find a clip of any of Sully's.
