Very nice, man.

great vibe, really feels like you had a purpose and it came through. Good sounds, good rhythmic work, interesting, nice pace.

The only thing I would say is that the last 16 before the 2nd breakdowns(2:19 or so) is a little cluttered and takes a bit of the overall vibe you had achieved away.

Keep it up man,

Taan

Lovin the deep, moody vibes, but I think Some of your elements are out of key with each other though. Check that out and even out some of the levels and I think you're on your way to having something really good, man.

I'd really like to hear how this comes along if you do some more work to it.

Ha Ha! I hear what you're saying! Might try and persevere with it over the next few days and then bin it at the weekend if I get no further!

p.s - it sounds really gash played through Soundcloud...
reckon this could be pretty nice with some moody atmospherics and more work, sounds alrite, bass is nice in it...

MY BIT...

Soundcloud

i like this one really nice chilled feel to it but i agree it needs more low end, and i think maybe the snare needs a bit more of some lower mid frequencies, maybe just another layer or something

yea im really liking this one, although that pianoy sorta thing that comes in at like 2:20 is a bit all over the place, you could definately do something more with that

new thing i have been working on the last few days

i wanna keep it quite sparse, but i think it needs a few more things, drums definately need a bit of work

i cant decide weather the vocal samples are too dark and eeire

probably could do with some next bass parts aswell

also the end isnt right yet, but please let me know what you think

Cheers, yeah trying to get a sort of skitterish type rhythm and feel to it, you know when you hear a melody sort of stumble and trip over itself - trying to record this in via just my laptop keyboard is a bit of a bastard though lol

i really like the way the bass and vocals overlap and work together in the intro. rest of the tune sounds pretty tight too, could use a couple vocal parts. the staggered bass/vocals would sound good at the drop at :55.

Good so far, perhaps let it reverb / echo into complete silence before the drop to give it some more impact?

Just started a track today - quite heavy but really can't get a hold on how to give it more depth without distorting the main synth. Any idea? Need some reverbed crashes / hats or what? Not too good at filling the sound out if you know what I mean. Feedback really appreciated. The intro makes up most of it so far as it's just a sample - big boy shit kicks in at 0.54...!

Layer,Layer,Layer,Layer,Layer,Layer,Layer and keep things clean.

So far you have two bits of sponge.

If you didn't pick up the metaphor, you have the skeletal outline, what you need is weight, nothing's really going on in the lower end of things and nothings to exciting in the groove of things, other than that kick every now and then, the midrange bass alone isn't sufficient for the style your aiming for.

When I say layer, do things subletly.
