Most days it just persistently arrives late (I think it has been on time only once or twice since starting back at uni this year) but, for the second time in the space of just two weeks, it has decided not to show up at all

Only had to go in to a 10-15 minute session and, being as I catch two trains, the fucking idiots that fail to drive these things from where the route begins 5 minutes from my stop make me late for the train in to New Street which makes me late for the next train I catch. The bus showing up 5-10 minutes late has the potential to make me a good half an hour late at least. Then there is the London Midland service in to New Street which, while being nowhere near as bad as the bus, still has its own little slot on the news every now and then because of how fucking unreliable it is.
I'm so lucky it was this week and not next week because I have to give a presentation that I'm marked on. From now on I think I'll just have to leave the house 20-30 minutes earlier and walk to the train station. Can't believe I pay a good £230 a term for this bullshit.
I have forgotten the joys of venting in this thread.
If you know the bus and train is always late then why dont you travel earlier?
When I went to Matthew Boulton college I sometimes got there 45 mins early cos I knew that if I got the bus after then I'd more than likely be late.

realised that I don't really have any interest in new music anymore. have no idea what's coming out, what's blowing up on the radio...

I contracted a design job to someone I know (worth decent $$$) and the proof she sent me is really really bad. So bad I'm not even prepared to show the client. If she can't produce anything better I'm going to have to do it myself for free.

nah. I used to work with her years ago and I reckon she had the hots for me. she used to eat a lot of bananas in front of me. boy she could eat a banana. two bites, honest to god.

Job rejection B2B Having to recover my OS on my laptop and it took all bloody day.
The tiny slither of sliver lining is that my laptop works better now, shame I feel like I will forever be living at home and working in this fucking job outside of me quitting and living on someone's sofa while I work some deadend fucking shit job while everyone around me moves into nice flats and has real careers.

On the follow up on my phone being fucked, this girl im sort of talking to phone broke, like a couple days ago and i sort joked with her about it. Nothing so mean and this morning told me her phone is working again.... Now shes rubbing it in my face its working.
Why me. I feel so empty without my phone throughout the day. Its kind of sad.
