Hey there!

My names Derek. I discovered dubstep probably around 2011, but I decided to join the forum because the community seems pretty cool. I've been producing electronic music for almost a year now in FL Studio & I know I have a little ways to go before I want to release them lol (perfectionist). I also like house & EDM in general as well & also indie rock. Don't be afraid to talk to me; I'm an outgoing guy! :):)

Hello! My Name is Pin. My friend brought me here, and I'm interested in this forum and would love to meet some people into this culture as I am. I am glad to talk to anybody. c: I produce Brostep, which some of you may frown upon, but I digress. I am happy to talk to anybody who's anybody, so if you say Hi to me, i'll be glad to have a conversation with you. :corndance:

Hey I'm jake Kurtz a Canadian from the miniscule village of Hillsdale Ontario. I make what I could only describe as odd experimental drumstep as more of a hobby than a career path and I've been reading the articles on the forum here for a long time. I have learned so many basic skills but the basics have helped me so much in learning the more advanced techniques and I just wanted to say thank you :Q:

Hi guys my names Jim, I've been a lurker here for a while. I fell into electronic music (fl studio) back in 2007 in my college years after being in a punk band that never cared much for musical expansion. Personally I am, and still am, a grind core head. After the band fell apart I spent a lot of time alone before I found out about cyber grind bands like electrocutionerdz and others.

Fast forward 6 years, I did something unreal for myself back then, write a lot of weird music. I expanded my horizons and fell into break core, dubstep, and hard style. Looking to reinvent myself but interested in guys like Borgore and Skrillex (cheesy I know, but they impressed me) got me into a whole new fascination with sound design. I hope it could all reboot what I started to get active again.

Open to any and all suggestions.

What up dupstep forum!! Been lurking for a long time and always loved getting my info from here, so decided to be apart of the community and have some learn some things in here. Just some background, I'm a 21 year old electronic producer/musician from NYC and currently make things ranging anywhere to experimental instrumental hip hop, dubstep, and variations of many other forms put together.

Some of my influences in the world of producing are definitely Flying Lotus, Massive Attack, Burial, El-B, Clams Casino, Just Blaze, Aphex Twin, Nosaj Thing, lot of Thom Yorke/Radiohead shit, just to name some. I also love a lot of old school rock stuff too. I use Logic Pro to create and mix all of my stuff.

I started to really become infatuated with the history of dubstep and to go back and learn my shit starting with the beginning of jungle/drum n bass, 2-step, the london pirate stations, etc. That shit really started to fascinate me as a dude coming from the Bronx in NY.

Looking forward to this a lot. Peace.

Hi,

my name is max, i live in germany and i listen to dubstep since...2010?!. A few month ago i discovered new genres for me: house, hardtechno, garage...everything with bass from the UK. I'm also the owner of the "UkBassBeats" Youtubechannel. www.youtube.com/user/ukbassbeats where i'm uploading uk bass music.
I have around 475 subscribers and 105000 views. And it's growing pretty fast. :h:

My favourite artists are...Author, Skream, Sleeper (i love his techno).

I have a 500W HiFi subwoofer that it makes fun to feel the music.

Thats all and sorry for my bad english. :z:
