@vast
Nice and dark. it's also good that you continue with that dark vibe also after the drop. I only miss a louder sub..

@nny
Chilling song, i like the weird trumpetish sound. not a big fan of the piano sound, and maby needs a bit more variety...

@the duke
Liked it from beginning to end, nothing more to say..

Now please rate my song :4:

@ the duke: Nice subbass, nice high synth! hats and percussion could be a bit louder!

@Dissent - sorry dude, have to skip you cause the soundcloud wouldn't play your tune for some reason :|

@just-the-tip - first thing that got my ear on this was the rather decent wobble. the drumwork is nice, especialy like that drumroll-esque thing you got there. the soaring high synth is a bit grating. but the chord progression is really nice!

@semihedonist - nice sounds on this one. lovely tribal vybz! i'm not quite feeling the drums and it almost sounds like something's peaking, like a sine wave had very high harmonics that don't sound too good. it's kinda shame cause this track is the bee's knees! seriously, damn well done. work on the mixdown and the drums a bit and you got a killa!

@toxidbeats - good work. the mixdown is lush, everything's balanced. good choice of sounds. one thing i'd do is to change the wobble a bit. other than that, really good job!

couple o new ones here! hush honey and i ain't mad at ya check em out!

@vast - i think maybe your snare could do with some more layers and a touch of reverb, it sounds quite mechanical, maybe thats what you were going for. Nice n spooky soundin ;)

@soyaman - love the synth run before the bass part comes in :) drums are nice and it all fits together really clear, nice one! I like it all really.

@theduke-dubstep - that bass is deeeep! great vocals and melodies going on. I like the way you used dynamics to build and release the parts, good effort!

Heres my latest one, in my attempt to fuse my love of the guitar and some quality dubstep. Might not be for everyone, but my last one got some good reviews :hugegrin:

Soya - Predictable. Didn't bring anything to the table I haven't heard before, but as far as I can tell on these headphones, the mix sounds nicely done.

Th0r - Good ideas and sounds, just the mix is shocking. Seems very muddy and like there are a lot of elements competing for headroom.

Vast - Your track is HEAVY. Could do with the sub being a good few decibels louder though man. The ideas are there, the sub is lacking for me atm though!

@theduke_dubstep: That shit grooves. Reminds me of proper mid 90's hip hop swagger. Well done man. On the download for this one.

@nnny: Nice atmospheres. Great chillout tune. Just what I needed after pulling an all nighter. Perhaps give the snare a bit more room to breathe given all the space in the tune. It sounds like it's in a tiny little room, but the rest of the tune is in a whole different soundscape. Maybe I'm just tired though. Overall great job though.

@Soyaman: Keep working at it. I'd work on your arrangement a bit more to create diversity and interest. Above that, work very very hard on your kick/snare as that is the most important part of dubstep (and all dance music for that matter). Layer, EQ, compress, and distort that kick/snare for the type of tune you're going for.

@topmo3: I like the garage tune. Was hoping for some proper dub delay somewhere though! Good subbass in your dubstep tune as well.

@wirez: I'm not nearly intelligent to make a tune that pretty.

@chewie: Incredible.

@thekeeftheef: Bring your drums out more with leveling/compression. Those basslines need a proper heavy groove to keep them rolling along.

@arktrix: I feel this more than I hear it. And I mean it in a good way. Fantastic percussion too. Your drums are well mixed. Very well done.

Here's mine. It's entitled "Wait for it" because the 2nd drop is the whole reason I wrote the tune in the first place. Went for a neuro style bassline with this one.

@ thekeeftheef: it is pretty heavy but would be nice to hear more variation in your bassline, make a few different ones and maybe resample them. also the drums could do with a bit of work...more intricacy, hihats, and one hit noises...
@ arktrix: this is good enough to be released mate, get in contact with some labels. the drums are lovely and that sub hums nice and warmly through my monitors.#
@tylerblue: nice mixdown, at times it seems you should let up a little as in the main riff theres no gaps for things to breathe, and maybe put a more variation into your beats, but these are minor qualms, the drops are sick and the tune is well produced.

- invaderzim: didn't really like it, basicly cause there's alot of flaws both in sound design as in timings/rythm , the track sounds like it's been bitcrushed on the master out. also check your brass-like synth, the timing's not always on top.

- tylerblue : intro's real nice, i liked the drop but the bass missed some 'WOAH' feel to it, which is (i think) caused by your drum levels, which are abit too loud. Try spreading your high's in your bassline abit , make it more present in the mix :) other than that great tune ! 2nd drop is sweet btw

- arktrix : decent tune, just not enough going on for my taste :)

- HomeNoiseRecord: i liked the way you blended your guitar into the track, more of a progressive tune really but liking it. got some mixdown to do and some of the notes seem kinda out of place too

I made a drumstep VIP of my previously posted tune brainfever, im not really into drumstep myself but imo it made a fine upgrade to my tune in this case :)

@topmo3 - honey hush is good. bare wasnt expecting that drop. ha. like the bouncey things in the background not sure if its part of the sub but they sound good, give the track real rolling movement. think the lead synth might be a be too loud, but whatever.

@tylerblue - sounds well mixed so far. the vocals are sick. haaaa, just got to the 2nd drop, that is JOKES. dunno what to say really. mix gets a bit more muddy as the track goes on and more bass comes in. think the kicks a bit bleurgh in the low mids, but track sounds really well put together, u obv kno what your doing composition wise.

@invaderizm - weird one this, half of me doesnt like the fact that its not in time, half of me loves it. i love the whole chip tune stuff, think maybe you just need to polish up the timing a bit. theres one snare thats annoying me more than anything else. the 2nd snare in your loop. maybe switch it up a bit, like a proper breakdown section, but im liking this more as i go on. ha.

heres mine, im hoping the mix is alright, cos it was out of the box, and cba to recall anything. ha

Soundcloud

edit: if i missed you out, its cos you didnt give any/good feedback. im sure this thread gets worse each time i come back.
