Quick question guys. I was thinking of getting me a GTX 460. As my 8800gts doesnt quite cut the mustard, but ive just found this for sale. Bear in mind that the rest of my current computer isnt great. Ive got a 2.7ghz dual core E7300 processor and 2gb of ram in a 4 year old dell inspiron.

AMD Quad Core processor (phenom II x4 965)
8GB Ram (DDR3)
500GB Hard Drive (SATA)
1GB nVidia GeForce GTX460 Graphics card with HDMI, DVI and VGA ports
DVD Burner LightScribe(SATA)
500w Power Supply (High on power, low on noise).

All of this for a pretty reasonable price. What do you guys reckon this together in a PC is worth? I know the amount hes asking, but would be interested to see what you guys reckon would be worth paying. Just from some dealer somewhere on a random website. All of it is new and it does come with a 3yr warranty and some virus scanning lameness.

I would want to know what kind of RAM and the power supply tbh. A lot of power supplies are advertised as much higher than they actually output steadily. Does it come with a case and adequate cooling? I would say £350-400 depending on those concerns. Over that and I'd look into just buying the parts myself.

was just heading from rog castle to loot the 3 deer stands, spotted some dood being all sneaky and shit in an open field, seemed suspicious so I killed him with my AKM, turns out he was a bandit and he had some good shit!
Alice pack (hit the jackpot seeing as the new update bugged packs from spawning)
3 akm mags (I already had 3)
like 7 cokes and 5 food (why carry that much?)
map, binoculars, hatchet, watch
m1911 with 3 mags (replaced my crappy makarov)

happy dayz! (pun intended)

Is this actually worth getting yet? I've never seen so many people get hyped over a beta.
I love the concept of the game and I'm eager to play it but I've played enough half-assed and half-done betas in my time to not jump on this too quickly.

even with all the bugs (its an alpha btw) the guy is constantly updating and fixing things, and its a fucking brilliant mod.

it increased arma 2 sales by 500% in one week, that should tell you whether its worth getting or not...

Anyway, even if some bugs piss you off you can just wait a couple days/produce and within that time its bound to have been fixed, so i'd say yeah, its definitely worth getting arma 2 over.
arma 2 itself is great fun as well, you basically get 2 games for the price of 1.

I'm playing right now and could really use a blood transfusion, losing blood really quickly. If you have my skype, drop me a line. I was spawned by the coast for some reason, which sucks.

I made it to a castle for the first time ever, was disappointed - apart from a map, there wasn't anything in there but food, drink, shit-ton of flares and ammo for a gun i dont have :(

Well If you can possibly afford it INTEL INTEL INTEL. AMD are pitiful compared to intel. Most games dont use more than 4 cores so u could get a 4 core which will be good for a while to come.

I dont know about nvidia but the best value for money for a AMD GPU is HD6870 (£130). which im gonna get.

And i dont think that phenom u list can do 1600+ memory speed.

You wont get better than this for the money:
https://www.aria.co.uk/WishList/MCiUXkI7SoaUH-rguh8NIw,,

It is amd but for £360 it will play games at high graphics @ 1680x1050.

i have the i3 2100 paired with a sapphire 6870 and 4gb of 1333 g-skill ripjaws ram, and i can pretty much run most games on highest at 1080p.
the good thing about the 6870 is its low power consumption and its great anti-aliasing performance.
