Skream - Field of Emotion is very hard to mix with the weird snare every two bars on the 2 thing.

Kromestar - Mental Universe

Listening to it my brain thinks the snare should be off-beat, then when it switches up after so many bars you realise the snare is supposed to be on the beat, it's just a very awkward (but great) tune.

I know it's not dubstep, but I'm sure the drops in this are wonky

Las - Your Eyes,

Mixing out of this is frustrating cause I have like no records that sound good when mixing out of it, also there might be an extra bar somewhere in the segment directly before the pure sub bit, but that might just be me being retarded

i love mixing that tune actually...find it goes nicely with a lot of stuff, think i did it with rsd- good energy this evening and it was kinda funky

Your Eyes is a sick tune. but I think it sounds a bit gash when sped up to ~145, which is where I usually play my sets at. same with Goat Stare, but I think that one's already pretty slow to start with.
I just prefer playing more techno or funky informed tunes. J:kenzo - conquerer sounds actually really sick at ~145 for example and segues nicely into (or out of) Den Of Drumz.

i like to mix sped up too, usually +1/2 though, 140 tunes just seem to skip along a bit better at that tempo mixed for me personally, and really try and avoid slowing anything past 0, find that makes almost all tunes sound sluggish, like mixes that follow the same approach like kode9 and plastician (iirc. it's been a while since listened to one)

Mixing at around +2 and +3 makes everything sound so much better (for 140 at least)

not everything imho. Coki - Officer and a couple of other, mainly older tunes need the slower pace to unfold properly.

I usually just kill the last record playing and throw this on at the end of a set.

Looks like the person the uploaded to youtube at 45 rpm...perhaps that's my problem...
