Sounding Big Bruv , Im feeling this one stil , to me it actually sounds quite whole as a track much more and it might sound a lil cluttered, the reggae piano sound could be lowered a tad , but in all honesty i cant give 2 much feedback on sound quality as im listening on sum small shitty pc speakers
Nice work on this one doe

Yeah I removed some synths from the tune because i thought that they cluttered it and i wanted it to have more of a garage feel to it. Since i removed them it has made me realise the bass is pretty weak really and I dont want to add a wobble cos its not the sort of tune where that works. I think it just needs livening up somehow.

I think mayb a funky bassline runnin alongside a dark bassline would work well.

How do you mean a funky bassline? Just something more upbeat and with more regular notes? Dunno if i totally undestand what you mean.

Yea in a way, jus more upbeat but a more slap string style bass similar to off old garage tunes , hard to explain what i mean but upbeat regular notes with a funky slap bass contrasted with a dark bass would work well imo , dark and light go together very well imo
if u get time can u giv some feedback on my track posted few above yours
safe.

Lol, i thought you was trying to prove a point with that post....until i got to the last tune in your player.
Lets be blunt has a nice feel to it, lots of atmosphere but i think its a tad dull, im not sure about the guitar plucks melody with the bass melody, it sounds dizzy and a bit random. it all sounds good on the speakers, nothing sticking out and out of place. the drum pattern is boppy and not repetitive.
all in all a nice track, deffo not one i would dance too but i dont think you was going that way anyway.
Synesthesia is a mental track mate, just how much of that is real and how much samples/vst's ect.... im curious.
Baz.
(thats my 3, now i can get some

)
synesthesia was made with 100% samples if i recall correctly

i know it is sounding dull but not sure on what to do with it, and id like some comments on the low end, as my monitors seem to lie alot where they are placed at the moment.
Cheers for your time.

marked to check when i fire up my monitors in a while
(just woke up)

might want to layer a sine wave under the bassline, also on the mid sound i'd process it a bit more maybe some slight distortion and verb
only other suggestion is toss in some stabs here and there

Safe for the feedback bruv , tryna mix down on 5 pound headphones is not the way, so im grateful for the advice on levels etc, i can see what you mean about the structure im not sure wether to do something about this though or just not bother with the track ,
Anyway im feeling your track its got a nice vibe to it , as i said ive only got cheap headphones so cant give too much advice on the low end , but i agree with dirty habit i do feel like the bass could do with a sine underlying it to give it a bit more of a presence also i feel like the samples that are used throughout the track could be boosted a lil more to give the track some brightness
Good work on this though im feeling this one stil.
