Hey can anybody tell me any other artists that make tunes like or similar to jakes? Im not really into the craziness like datsik and co or the dullness of distance (dont get me wrong i do like some of there tunes) but everything jakes makes is fire!! Need more of that as near enough everything i hear of jakes is a dubplate and i cant get it!

Ok dullness maybe the wrong word... What im trying to say is its the opposite to the Datsik style... I love the middle ground Dubby beats and bass and naughty loopin synths ya get me???
Instead of picking up on a slight mistake brasco could you not try and help me with my question insted??

maybe the emptiness of distance? I find it to be a strength in his tracks, especially when mixed by the man himself, but I could see how that would be the opposite end of the spectrum from the rottun crew (who I also like a lot), and could see how it wouldn't appeal to all.

Whatever the case, there really is no one like Jakes. They broke the mold after pourin that one. :z:
