I use 512 point sinc. For rendering out songs, I also select leave remainder. But really there aren't a lot of options, you've got it covered.

i find that in practice that it is way easier and more intuitive to sync the tempo of the song to the acapella, then change it, than messing with the messy time stretching in fl
safe mayn.

that tune in your sig is BEAST.

big riddem! :)
thank you!

Use the fruity limiter. On the limiter tab, under envelope turn the attack all the way down, now look on the right side of the plugin, what do you see?

Curious as to where you're getting the idea to use a noise gate. Do you want to use it on an individual channel, on a bus, on a full mix, what? This is something a compressor can do if it has a slow enough attack, as well.

I want to send it to a hi hat bus. Heard about using a gate on the hats can create some interesting results. Basically it can be used to swing the hats, I think.

Question: How does one create an automation clip on a downloaded plugin (Ex: Massive) or any plugin that didn't come with FL? I usually right-click and the select create automation on a plugin knob, but there is no option for that on downloaded plugins.

click the down arrow on the top left of the wrapper click "browse parameters" find what you want to automate, right click > link to controller or create automation clip.

Love this trick in Reason! This is what i want to do in FL studio with massive or any synth but haven't been able to recreate it yet... There is no way to route CV signals in FL Studio... that i know of... I want midi gate to trigger the step sequencer and the sequencer to change the LFO rate for a LP filter... why is this so hard to do in anything but Reason?!

Figured if anyone would know how to do something like this In FL studio, this was the place to ask!

You'd think that the flstudio forum would be the place to ask?

This has been covered here on the forum. Maybe even in this thread. I know I posted up a way to do this in flstudio (but I don't know if that was before or after all my posts were deleted when the server was moved), and a user by the name of grooki posted up another way to do this. I'm really tired and spaced out. If searching doesn't do it for you, I'll see what I can turn up at a later date.

I'd do a search in the production forum for user name grooki with keyword "keyboard control" match all words.

Saw something about the Love Philter in this thread that might be a step in the right direction, but not totally sure how it works...Never used it, Seems if i was trying to use an envelope to control filter cuttoff it would do the trick with some messing about.

Anyhow, Just found the Grooki post you referred too! Exactly what i wanted to know! For anyone else, here is the link!

So I'm making a wobble bass by linking the Fruity Formula Controller to my cutoff filter then setting an automation clip for that.

In the playlist, I have my bassline pattern repeated several times, and duplicated my automation clip for each instance of the bassline pattern. The problem is the wubs get WAY faster for each automation clip. Image

Is anybody using an mpk with fl? Ive bought one second hand off ebay but ive read about people having problems with setup. Im running fl9 on a win7 64bit machine. Apparantly theres no fl mapping preset available, although i think theres bundled software to make your own. Just wondering if anyones had issues or if theres drivers that I should be aware of? Cheers for replies
