Yeah in hindsight I should have, it was like 500/1 and 66/1 for loss/draw. Still arguing with William Hill about the one bet I did actually win but just got refunded cause they thought it was 90 minute games but u20s are 70. They pretty much said 'we made the mistake of putting 90 minute odds so the games void'.. doesn't even say the time period on the main page, just pick a winner or draw then bet. Its not even the money, just annoying the one bet I win gets void cause of their fuck up. Said I'll be contacting trading standards if they don't sort their shit out today, I won't be arsed but just mentioning trading standards usually gets their arse twitching.

Anybody know if Sky are still showing games on Sky 2 today? United game was on there yesterday for some 'celebrate the prem being back' although I'm sure it has more to do with BT sport coming into competition

Alright for some!

When leeds did that shit hit the fan about 1 year later lol. If you see a new million pound fishtank being set up by the corporate entrance then you can start to worry.

We always have the fruits of our youth academy to fall back on though...James Ward-Prowse is an easy £15m at least when he eventually gets sold on.

Won't be us this time, Wenger seems to have imposed a transfer embargo on the club

It's happening all over the place, teams going spending the extra TV money they're getting, will hopefully reduce the gap between the top teams and the rest.

It's insane that southampton and similar level clubs can now spend more than say Valencia.

I'm confident that if Liverpool only sign players in the January window then we'll be better off. Apart from mingolet and maybe Aspas our summer transfers recently have been a major disappointment

Good times on the south coast TBH...our opening league matches should all be 'easy' games, and we're due a cup run.

Champions League here we come 8)

We might have to shoot for finishing above So'ton rather than Spurs this year.
