Yeah this, up until about a year ago.
It was a term used in the mid/late 90s and then forgotten about until this recent rediscovery and reinvention.

Edm is what it says it is to me. If you rely on some American teens with glowsticks to define stuff, everything will go to shit.
Maybe it's easier to give in though. Let them have these three letters to describe their awful music..
But they did the same thing with techno.
I'm trying to think about what happened to house.. but seriously, what the fuck happened to house?
I guess deep house used to be deep or something.

it wasnt necessarily called deep house cos it was deep music, it was just called deep house because it was the weird shit that the djs had to dig deep into their record bags to find. apparently.
