well they would probably challenge for the title but also have no money.

I've just been looking at my old programmes, such a waste of money looking back, i must have about 500 quids worth sat in a cupboard but its mad how much things have changed even over the 15 years ive been going and also how little i remember of any of the matches i actually went to.

I think Levy either has the money available, some loans have been mooted and they didn't spend the Modric money, so I doubt he gets caught. I have loads of sympathy for clubs that get fucked over by owners though and in Risdale and Bates you'e had two among the worst.

I don't think you have to remember it for it not to be a waste of money, if so the nights I spent clubbing over a period of about 25 years would be worth very little indeed. You can just enjoy the moments for what they are. At least these days some fucker will have it recorded anyway.

you definitely got the best of Kewell, I remember signing him in 2003 thinking we got a world beater

Tottenham don't have anywhere near £100m+ in cash reserves, either they've taken out pretty heavy loans with the assumption they'll definitely get regular champions league for a while or they're already spending the Bale money

He was but even when fully fit I don't think he was ever as good for us as he'd been for you. Some players just seem to suit some clubs and don't achieve the heights elsewhere.

The Arsenal rumour mill is back into overdrive after the game tonight
By David Ornstein
BBC Sport
Arsenal are working on deals to sign Real Madrid pair Karim Benzema and Angel Di Maria.
The Gunners are prepared to pay £40m for 25-year-old France striker Benzema after missing out on Gonzalo Higuain and Liverpool's Luis Suarez.

It is understood Wenger is also chasing a goalkeeper and a defensive player.
Only 10 more days of this torture

I'm kind of nervously optimistic about this season. I think automatic is out of the question- especially with watford almost certain to be one of two but we could just sneak into the playoffs. The squad on paper is probably a 15th place one but mcdermott and his positive thinking voodoo seems to get results, after all he got reading promoted and they weren't very good.

Most importantly gates are up and everyone seems to be pulling in the same direction now bates has gone, there's even some noises about rebuying elland road. Now all we've got to is not sell anyone to fucking norwich.
