My girl's parents, especially her Mum, ask when we're going to get married almost every time she calls these days. Apparently we've offended delicate Southern sensibilities by doing everything in the wrong order.

It has reached a point where my mum has suggested multiple times that we apply for Dont tell the bride
My nan tried to suggest she wouldnt live long enough to see us get married as well.
Bastards just want babys anyways. We cant even manage to move out together yet

Tbh the winds have totally calmed down here, not sure about Edinburgh though. Hopefully you manage to make it along tonight!
EDIT: Although, it is snowing now...
It's looking all good now, Glasgow flight just left on time so I'll probably be alright.
I really need to stop preparing drugs on my laptop and storing them in my wallet, I always get stopped for swabs. obviously not got anything on me but I shit myself a little every time. Like there might be some forgotten baggy (unlikely) in there. Fucking long.

yeah i always worry about that as well like thinking i hid something in a suitcase when i was like 15 and forgot and it will come back to haunt me.
i used to be super srs about hiding spots when i was in like 9th grade. i wouldn't put it past making a little hole in a suitcase and stuffing shit in a part you can't get access otherwise.

A mate of mine once travelling from Brighton to Copenhagen to South Carolina and then back to Heathrow to come and see me before realising he'd had a gram of ketamine in a zip in his rucksack all along.
Funniest bit was he got stopped and searched on his way over to mine after scoring an 1/8.. lost that and got the customary MET slap on the wrist, but still arrived with the K in tact.

I cant even go out and just drink without thinking "shit I dont have anything on me do I?!" The time I walked up to the door of an RS records night, with what I had in my shoe and the bouncer pulls an empty baggy out of my small front pocket I shat a brick.
*thick south african accent*
Him: "What the fuck is dis mate, It fucking empty!?" as he holds it in my face
Me: "umm..yup" (Im going to be so fucked when he find the one I actually knew about)
He stares at me in a mix of contempt and confusion, pats me down again (not going lower than knees)
Him " get the fuck in there and dont let me catch you with anything else"
Got inside and was shaking like mad haha

My mate used to shot ket, the place he would sell would always search him hard after he got caught with a small amount once.
He'd always wear his dickies jacket with this little pouch in the back of it, so he'd have to go in and get searched all the while with a few bags of ket in his jacket, dunno how he did that. Was a laugh back then, free bumps and lines always. I've only ever bought the stuff once when we went two nights in a row to a park to look at the stars, then on the third day he told us I owed him for it.
