Man wanted to lay down 29p for a birthday card, and he's got old women fussing about whether a baby would give a FUCK about what wrapping paper they had, or whether it would care if the teddy bear in a stocking said "Happy Christmas" or "Baby's First Christmas" on it. Then you've got next old women trying to perfectly co-ordinate their labels with their wrapping paper and holding up the queue. Face it, you're in card factory, that shit doesn't matter to you too much.

I seriously do not get the controversy around aspartame. Seriously. A lot of people are just afraid because it is synthetic.

Sure there are some bad synthetic chemicals around, but a lot of natural chemicals are unsafe and carcinogenic too. Only difference is we've been testing aspartame for more than 30 years now and we still haven't found any serious link with cancer. There aren't many so-called "safe" natural chemicals that get the same close scrutinisation.

Avoid aspartame if you want to, I don't care, it's your life and you're free to eat and drink whatever you want. But that's no reason to ignore all scientific research and favor opinions of "natural experts" on the internet.
