Like.. when you use 'sardonic' there, instead of just using something that describes his behaviour like snide or whatever -you opt for a heavier word that describe your experience but in a higly prententious way - which means people almost don't have chance to side with you.

Just because you have to look sardonic up in the dictionary., if I said he was sardonic that's how he acted , dude hub, let's just drop this. You're in over your head. I'll pretend you never said any of this. And you can continue drooling from the brain
