The proof will be in the pudding, but this is a huge shout for dubstep again. This machine just keeps getting bigger.

I can't think of any instance where any of these artists have ever individually released anything that amounted to pure doo-doo. Some tracks I like more than others, (especially neptunes more commercial pop tracks) but none of it was just plain bad; in fact it was very well done and served its purpose well. Nobody said this was a hip hop collab, and he ain't singing. They are choosing to work together for a reason and I doubt its to eff around and make some cheezy hybrid or something. I can't see how you guys can be so skeptical. Just because there's a chance one might not like a song when they hear it doesn't mean we need to remind each other to be wary of it before we hear it. Skream, Benga, Skateboard P, please don't let the naysayers make you hold this back any longer than you already are going to!!NilsFG wrote:Hmm wouldn't really call this a milestone, but it's very big.
This collab can bring very good things forward, but it can always turn out like most of those other hiphop collab-things. Pure shit.
Looking forward none the less!Congratulations to Benga & Skream
This. Shoulda gotten some other Dubstep producers in on the game for a change as well. Skream making a tune with or sampling some big ass hiphop producer is every day. Who gives a shit?milksnake wrote:womp.. should of gotten the other dude from the neptunes
Where did you hear that anyone was going to be rapping over anything? Do you really think they would, instead of getting in the studio together, settle for throwing down a verse over one of their wobblers and call it a day? Skream said they were p r o d u c i n g together, not selling out and being un-creative. There are some real pessimists on the board these days. I don't see what snoop rhyming over another track has to do with 2 of the sickest producers in the UK going into collaboration with one of the sickest and established producers in the entire world. Pharrell and Snoop are in totally different leagues. Both great. One far more diverse, talented, focused, and prolific; the other an aging rapper who was relevant in the nineties.KIRAN wrote:mm i love benga skream and pharell but remember what happened when snoop rapped over eastern jam? didnt turn out too well.

Skream: Hey guys, check out these drums
Benga: Oh shit, man, that's hot, how about this bassline?
Merzbow: Oh, harro guys, how about this?

Skream: Oh, goddamnit.![]()

I reckon some well done noise loops would work wonders in a dubstep tune
bro.. can you just shut the fuck up mate your the most opinionated and elitist tnuc on this entire forum its people like you that make this forum a fucking laughing stock.surface_tension wrote:I can't wait to hear what random noise Pharell makes by clucking his tongue at real talented producers, while Skream samples it and Benga comes through and makes it proper shit by adding a grinding LFO

Put it out and quit talking it up. The last major "hiphop vs dubstep" collab was total garbage. Perhaps maybe choose someone relevant... I hear Chris Brown has been delivering "hits" lately.
3 pages and everyone's got an opinion on something no ones heard yet?
