Re: Your project screenshots.

A lil something I'm working on with our good friend legend4ry. with some help from my dad on some vocals hahaha.
I spent an hour today using a volume envelope on the sub to get it at a perfectly constant level, the drums are so clean and nice sounding it'd be a shame to drown them in a horrible bipolar sine wave

I think the most I've ever used is about 13 seperate channels? Like everything else in life, keep it simples.

Re: Your project screenshots.
Thats the thing I don't get with FL users. Why use that awful, awful pattern editor at the bottom and not the one where you can drag and drop audio clips is beyond me. Its way, way more precise and you can actually see where your hits/basslines notation starts and finishes, thus making snips/edits/looping much, much easier.

Re: Your project screenshots.
Top right on your keyboard you should see a button called "print scrn" which is for taking a screenshot of what is on the screen when you push it.th@-pu$$y wrote:How are you guys copying these screen shots to post them?
Push it to make the screenshot and then open MS Paint and do CTRL+V to paste the image. Save the image as myfirstscreenshot.jpg and then find a host to upload the image so you can share it with the internets.

is a free and easy to use host.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

I bet some of you take a few minutes sometimes to find the “k” key on your keyboards too :p
On a serious note I would actually go insane trying to use a computer to make music on if I did not know my way around a computer. I can imagine it being very frustrating and drive you absolutely bonkers when things go wrong!

doesnt bother me that much when things go wrong, my brother is a microsoft engineer of some sort or another

Re: Your project screenshots.
I know people say it does not help with creativity but I think it does help knowing your way around a computer. At least it removes a few obstacles so less distractions I guess.darkmatteruk wrote:

Anyway, screenshots are handy if you want to try and show someone something you need help on or offer assistance.
