A lil something I'm working on with our good friend legend4ry. with some help from my dad on some vocals hahaha.
I spent an hour today using a volume envelope on the sub to get it at a perfectly constant level, the drums are so clean and nice sounding it'd be a shame to drown them in a horrible bipolar sine wave

funny i was bout to post a pic of one of mine that's been released and nowhere near as much of a clusterfuck as some of these pics
more channels=more headaches & more pain to mixdown
I think the most I've ever used is about 13 seperate channels? Like everything else in life, keep it simples.

to be fair I know that some of those screenshots are showing the individual drum hits and such.

Thats the thing I don't get with FL users. Why use that awful, awful pattern editor at the bottom and not the one where you can drag and drop audio clips is beyond me. Its way, way more precise and you can actually see where your hits/basslines notation starts and finishes, thus making snips/edits/looping much, much easier.

Top right on your keyboard you should see a button called "print scrn" which is for taking a screenshot of what is on the screen when you push it.
Push it to make the screenshot and then open MS Paint and do CTRL+V to paste the image. Save the image as myfirstscreenshot.jpg and then find a host to upload the image so you can share it with the internets.
http://www.imageshack.us
is a free and easy to use host.

I just said how to do it !
I bet some of you take a few minutes sometimes to find the âkâ key on your keyboards too :p
On a serious note I would actually go insane trying to use a computer to make music on if I did not know my way around a computer. I can imagine it being very frustrating and drive you absolutely bonkers when things go wrong!

I know people say it does not help with creativity but I think it does help knowing your way around a computer. At least it removes a few obstacles so less distractions I guess.
Anyway, screenshots are handy if you want to try and show someone something you need help on or offer assistance.
