While I did travel with those bands, neither capture anything like the album I posted. Ah the days of truly terrifying young minds.

well yeah they have the obvious omission of crust stylistically but it doesn't change the fact both bands were punxxxxx and really fucking heavy. in fact, two of the greatest sludge bands without a shadow of a doubt.

I second Electric Wizard. Dopethrone's one of my favourite alltime albums.
Try Groundhog's Split or Thank Christ For The Bomb.
the album was one of the first records i've ever bought but it took me about 16 more years until i saw this video. actually i could watch this the whole day as i really love its ambience. timeless classic.

I recommend Boogalu music. Its like salsa with a backbeat. from the 60s. the dance is a mix of salsa and 60s soul dancing. its still popular for caleno salsa. the colombians play the music sped up (33s on 45) and do fast footwork to it similar to jit and juke. the roots of juke may be with a 60s soul dance called "roller skating" that has had an influence on cali columbian salsa and cumbia. i think its now called skate boarding or skating. not to be confused with memphis juke ice skating.
if you hear salsa with a heavy backbeat its probly boogalu

hardly obscure to a lot of peeps but this song has helped me a lot in my life
(this is an edit that gets straight into the latter half of the track but good enough to get the idea!)
found an original vinyl copy of this album on holiday in New York and was so, so happy!
