"be careful that you don't get shot at those raves you go to" (a clueless relative from up North

)
"because of you, I'm currently listening to some dubstep and you will be punished at a later date" (an unimpressed roots reggae DJ friend)
"it''s a bit swag innit tho, why don't u like R&B?" (someone on the 345 lol)
sometimes I wonder if anyone likes dubstep, grime and garage apart from me lol

"Haha, so you like techno now?!" or "Turn off that damned techno!"
Coming from hip-hop heads... ignorant bastards.

hey it's not just limited to dubstep. I play mostly breaks out and get some odd requests with that.
got any house? got any old skool? got any pendulum
I haven't had any comments directly about me dropping dubstep yet other than shock at the bass they have coming at them.

15 year old girl for the first time on a dub/reggae dance: "can you play something from system of a down?"
"this is techno!" from 2 of my reggae selector friends.
"you and your strange music" from another reggae head.
"i'm more into minimal but that stuff you were just playing was actually fucking awesome! what is this?" nice one from a guy out of the massive
