True, and I feel practically every other remix has failed to top that exact tone you're describing that comes with the original mix. Here the production takes the opposite direction, instead, leaving the vocals as a sort of jarring juxtaposition. Even the autotune, which is normally dehumanizing, serves to take away a lot of the bite from Wayne's delivery.
