You guys can try to "repair archive" in winrar which rebuilds the archive, it works a lot of the time. Usually when there is a missing byte or 2 causing it to read as corrupt, such as during errors in uploading or downloading. I didn't download it so can't say if it works for this...

Big ups for this one!

Had some trouble to extract the rar archive too. Although I managed to rebuild it and it worked fine afterwards.

Here's the part that didn't work for me before the rebuild. Let me know and I can up other parts of the archive if you still have problems.

Cheers for the upload!

The video was more interesting, than informing I think. Layering claps, eq'ing bass, lots of tape delay and reverb on a couple of sounds, no limiter or eq on master channel. Cool. Wish he coulda covered a more technical sound like Let Me Clear My Throat and talked more about compression/mixdown. Still good though!

Where he uses logic on the video, he eq's the kicks and snares individually. In FL Studio I send all of my kicks, hats and snares to the same channel. Is it possible to eq the kicks and snares individually so I can layer them, but still send them all to the same channel? Or do I have to send the kicks to one channel, the snares to another and eq them this way?

Can anyone help on this 1 please?

Thanks! :D

what you're looking for is bussing. In fl, send all you stuff to individual tracks, from those individual tracks, turn off the send to the master, and send them into a "buss channel". Any channel in fl's mixer can be a buss channel.

This is a very common practice.

If you want to know the mechanics of how to do this, I think I have a post in the flstudio q and a thread.

Just plant this seed in the back of your mind though, that the fl mixer has really serious problems. If you affect your snare but not your kick, the snare's timing relative to the kick can shift, and shift quite a bit, fucking with your groove.

As soon as you're ready, use cubase. You can use flstudio as a vst inside of cubase, and alleviate these problems.
