Re: Biometric Verification
^ Real nice tune man, I dig that.
Yeah I remember reading a while back some families volunteered to get those chips implanted, because they felt "safer" with them. Sounds like a product of fear tbh, but as long as it's voluntary they can do whatever they want to their own bodies, as long as it's not mandatory.
Was that last bit about the RFID hacking, like those recent RFID credit cards being sniffed by someone standing next to the card holder with a simple tool?

Re: Biometric Verification
yes, hacking and manipulating digital information makes us more insecure than ever as we become more and more digital identities. people from back home hacked everything from nasa to pentagon and made news headlines. and that's kids, not the people holding the key to pandora's box
and those families... there's midget fights on tv as well
thanks for the tune appreciation, coming up on a new uk label this spring!

Re: Biometric Verification
I'd be more worried if some nefarious criminal organisation got hold of that fingerprint database. Not as if cornershop security's particularly better than government security.Pi-Krust wrote:Need to clarify my point a little i think,I don't believe that there is one giant server somewhere where all biometric data is stored and collated for the benefit of the NWO.I'm more worried about Individual corporations and organisations and what they'd do with the data and whom they might pass it on to.Fer instance if supermarkets had a record of your fingerprint and you had to scan your finger every time you shopped there, then surely they'd be able to build up a comprehensive profile of your shopping habits in order to target and market stuff at you better.Might seem trivial to some but i'm not that keen on how supermarkets operate and wish to help them as little as possible.Sorry if i don't make total sense but i have had a few light ales today.

That armless guy down the street from me is gonna have a hard time getting his smoke on.

Just because you are a character, does not mean you have character.
