What does techno mean to you?

to be fair i did enjoy some of those songs you posted at the start of the thread.

Techno to me is stripped-down, raw, emotive, machine funk.

techno is generally assumed to be the hard stuff

Two things.
One: Most hard techno sounds good, while most "hard" dubstep is rather poorly produced, and
Two: Most people I know think of that "mnml" stuff when they think of techno.

In my opinion "mnml" is just bad microhouse.

EDIT: More techno.





I'm almost hesitant to post the last one because it's a bit too mnml for my tastes, but a good tune is a good tune.
