Good shit man!
How's it going guys, I'm pretty much new to Dubstep, I started listening to this Genre a couple of months ago
and so I thought about producing it as well I'm still having a hard time though but I'll get there haha.
I started this project two days ago, pretty much 5-6 hours on it.
So easy guys ,feedback would be real good.
listened to ur first track, thought the intro could do with beefin up more to be honest, after the first drop i thought sum elements of the track sounded a tad out of time,in terms of vocal to kick, but overall quite liked it,give off a kind of prodigy/big beat element prob caused by the synths, but i quite liked it
agreed intro was a bit bare and the 2nd sound kinda was too loud for me. also idk if its a rmx or what but do u have to have the vocals through the whole song? maybe beef ur kick a bit more mate.
hmm, yeah it needs work, ill give it a go.
vocals through the whole song? hmm idk just trying something new i guess hey.. yeah ill try make the kick more ruth haha..
thanks to you both, honest help is faaaar more helpful than quick "its ok's" haha

Heres a my next wip, raw as a mooing steak, just a bunch of ideas, I failed with my feedback in the wrong thread, it's late
soundcloud is cracking out, clicking the link works though...
Nice one. I love how it amps up about half way through, sounds a little hiphop influenced to me.
The song really develops. It sounds a lot darker immediatly after the first drop. Then relaxes? That what you were aiming for?

This ones completely the opposite. Hectic mechanical banger. Nice one son.
I like that sort of sweeping sound in the synths.

Heres my latest, not exactly a banger, but not as chilled as my last.
I'm still trying to figure out the first drop and also I reckon I'll shift the kicks to be in better time with the wobble of the bass.
But till then let me know what you think.

cheers bruv! yeah i wanted to make something with a different structure which would fuck with dj's a bit (it changes time signature halfway through), in all honesty it started out on some minimal vibe. but hiphop wise? probably, it was my first musical love, the samplage is the fugees...
FRAKSURE: big tune, got shades of printer jam in it. i like the bringing in of the hats. good work!

i like the vibe. maybe some interesting delay and reverb on that guitarry sound to bring it out?
maybe a few more elements thrown in sparingly? like some added percs.
i think you could progress it really well.

only thing i would suggest is bring the pulsating sub bass out a bit more and turn the levels of the piano and the lead synth down so it sits in the background. but thats all just personal preference and what i would do if i was working on that track
but i'm liking the way its progressing

@babylonjunkies : Nice tune, intro had me thinking it was about to drop into a bit of deep n dark, but it still sounds good from a production point of view, Unsure about that delaying stabby synth thing.
@Fraksure : Solid tune everything sounds and fits right, nothing to criticise really, bass can get a bit repetitive, but theres enough going on to draw the listener away from that.
@streetxlite : It's a good start, but you need some weight behind the synths, they feel a bit hollow, try adding a bit of distortion or build up the layers.
On that note, an updated wip for you all to tear apart.
Bonus points to anyone who knows the name of the original!

Having real problems mixing this one down, it just sems too 'thin'?
Apologies for not giving feedback first, but when i get back tonight i'd do at least 3, plus whoever gives mine feedback.
