when I've uploaded my first there was no confirmation it works, so I'd like to be sure it's ok.
thx

by the way the track was:

this one - rawhead.mp3
the script reads the files from the server automatically, so it looks like it didn't work sorry.

I would, I love eurodiscodub-step me, especially with all those bio hazard symbols and black and yellow stripes... they remind me of being twelve.

As for yellow and black, biohazard etc - I feel this might be mistaken for a mid nineties hardcore compilation.

I like the metaphor of contagion however.

your track is in fact uploaded. It is just not in the same directory because you uploaded it via ftp before the script had been written. i will move it so that it shows up.

yeah good idea twiggy about uploading from my bros broadband connection...

...and gonna start a thread for naming rights but how about

CONTAGION - 2. Psychology. The spread of a behavior pattern, attitude, or emotion from person to person or group to group through suggestion, propaganda, rumor, or imitation.
3. A harmful, corrupting influence: feared that violence on television was a contagion affecting young viewers.
4. The tendency to spread, as of a doctrine, influence, or emotional state.

The likelihood of significant economic changes in one country spreading to other countries. This can refer to either economic booms or economic crises.

then we could do a viral warning package with lots of yellow and black danger stuff, an infectious substance sticker, handle with care type of thing, bar codes, guys in white chem hazard suits and make it real gritty, grimey and scary looking ???

somehow i think this comp is not gonna be that nasty but chock more full of contemplative irie half steppas in which case we could call it something like "tranquility base", do a moon map, grab an image from here and give it an outer space theme

Its really too bad my regiment hasn't issued me my nuclear-biological-chemical gear yet, otherwise I would be willing to pose for some shots in a nice PVC suit and gas mask! :D

I paid for Mark N's "I Can't Believe It's Not House Music" and "You Can Stick Your Fucking Happy Hardcore Records Up Your Arse" along with other similarly named tapes.

Are we gonna use cd decks cos cutting all the tracks will kill my pocket! i wouldnt mind using a pioneer 600 effect mixer to. i could supply that. I need to use someones cd deckles i aint got any.
hmm do you have Traktor? i know it is expensive but i am sure someone has it lying around somewhere, or you could get it through bittorrent. that's what i would recommend for dj mixing mp3s. i saw richard devine do a demo of the program, though i have not used it myself. it looks pretty sweet.

rane/serato have made a mixer with scratch built into it...

The TTM 57SL allows the user to simultaneously:

* Play a combination of digital and analog sources.
* Play up to two digital files controlled by vinyl or CD while recording your mix.
* Or, record two stereo sources when not using vinyl or CD control.
* Cue analog and digital sources.
* Operate standalone as a no-compromise performance mixer.

....kiwi ingenuity, I might see if we can get sponsored by them
