Its about randomising some flaws into the whole thing... I tend to do things that are way to elaborate for no real reaosn at all, like deforming a sine wave, lol.stappard wrote: All that processing on a sub seems counterintuitive to what a sub needs to be.
I just whack a saturator on it with a preset I've made for subs, adjust the level so its no higher than -12 and I'm set.
For me the character of the sub is all in the ADSR and lfo-volume.

edits... nvm... it does this... at around 75hz... and when I compress it to compensate for that, it returns to its original state.
