a little vocal track every now and then is good, but the dub in dubstep came from the early tracks being the "dub" or instrumental version, i hope it continues to be mostly instrumental

i def feel you about the instrumentals, i have mad respect for dub, and i know there's an oversaturation of rappers, singers, voices etc....

I just like a balance, and new and creative ways to flex different styles!

I just want to her people making key melodies and nice basslines- basically the things that got dubstep so succesful in the beginning. I used to complain about how dubstep isnt the way it used to be but now I just look for tunes I like, makes sense really! On that note though, through pure bias I want to hear people making more dubby tracks, simple tracks such as "Strong Dub-Radikal Guru"

In terms of peoples sets i have to say that recently i havent been that impressed with people i've seen play out. I think i have seen joker 4 times in the last 6 months, and although your production is next level your dj sets leave something to be desired. Chase and Status-Heartbeats as last song? Prodigy-Out of space? To be fair, it might have been to please the students or whatever but still man, especially at warehouse project for thrasher, it was an ALL DUSBTEP lineup, and literally 5 minutes before the man on the mic was bigging up dubstep and all its fans and how far the genre has come and then you drop some drum and bass. Not cool.
Also, although they are big tunes, When i Look at You, Sweetshop etc i don't want to hear anymore from someone as well known as joker. Maybe drop the VIP? or some insane new dubs that people will have linked you with. Or....even better, would be more of your own stuff, because production wise, i don't think many people get close to you.

So yeah, all in all, stop playing the crowd pleasers, but keep it up with the sick remixes and productions.
