I can't get why on earth people need drugs to appreciate good music. why are people more against mkat than say, mdma though?

is it just because its long term effects aren't known, the actual high effect people get from it, or is it just because its so popular at the moment?

tbh ive not had good mdma for ages and i dont even bother with pills anymore, but mkat is a really good high in my opinion. thing is it seems ridiculously morish/addictive and some of my friends have said theyve experienced heart palpitations and other messy shit. ive not myself but it makes my joints feel stiff and i get this weird tingly feeling like i havent got enough blood to go round my whole body.

I think it is mainly because mdma is pretty tried and tested. It's been over a couple decades now and there doesn't seem to be serious problems. Whereas Mephedrone hasn't been around for long so who knows? I think a lot of people have been doing it because it's a common known fact that pills have been shit for a long time (at least the 3 for a tenner variety) so people at least know this will do something. Unlike mdma (in my experience), it is moreish and after the initial loved up feeling you're just left with over stimulation and a need for more. Plus it does smell of cat piss.

It's because it's cheap and legal. I was put off by the seemingly-massive quantity needed to achieve an MDMA-like effect (all that bulk oxidising brain doesn't seem like a good idea in the long term), MD* does the job accurately and was specifically created (patterned after mescaline, I think) as a drug to assist counselling sessions (like LSD but that drug's therapeutic effects were discovered a while after it's initial discovery, go read about the work of Stanislav Grof especially plus there was plenty of other bona fide clinical psychologists using it up until Timothy Leary wrote about dropping it in the water supplies of American cities to prevent Russians taking them by surprise doing the same thing, public opinion became rather negative after 'high-profile', i.e. media propounded, advocacy against scientific backing otherwise).

its messy shit, if you snort enough of it in one go the rush is intense! a few of my mates do it every week..even on their own sometimes, proper fiend it, i've stopped it now hate the stuff, the last few times i've had these weird panic attacks in my sleep and my heart felt like it was about to stop..scary shit tbh aint witnessed anything else like it. its wank how theres hardly any decent mdma or pills about anymore, i had some stuff that was apparently mdma last week n there was no come up, i was just wired but I felt ded monged n tired at the same time...fucked up!
