Pure cringe worthy music from someone I thought more of. I hear it changing and see where it is going and its not good
If you think Filth was bad, its going to get worse lol
Skip the junk DnB in the first half and go straight to 88:00 mins for an example of what happens when trance meets dubstep.
That horrendous music is what dusbtep is being known as to many.
Cheese is taking over Filth!
Ok, so am having to pause my Anti-Social Entertainment set for this... so lets hope it was a good pause.
If you got any sense you will stick ASE back on in no time.
I have left early from a couple of what were decent nights in London because the music has got sooooooo fluffy.
Whats the grit gone???? and I dont mean mid range!
See.... this was why i didn't understand what you on about first... But i understand now, is that not just pop/trance with a non generic pop beat over it i.e flat 4x4 LOOOOOOOOOOL
Back To ASE for me... that wasted about 5 minz of my time....

bad isnt it.
I have noticed around the streets of Croydon hardly anyone is playing decent Dubstep from their cars anymore (big deal? lol) but when I do hear it I hear this Trance stuff:/ like I have already said, I am hearing this kind of stuff creeping in and attracting big crowds. Seriously, Judge Jules will be the next big Dubstep DJ real soon.
People can make or listen to whatever they like, thats cool. I would have just thought this kind of music would get nowhere in Dubstep. Trance and happy hardcore has its scene, why are people not listening to that? I think it comes down to being cool being into Dubstep or something.

Because people know its more "commercially buy able" and more of the general public can relate to is, so they know this in fact will increase sales! Period.

STOP ALL FORWARD PROGRESS!!!!! I FEAR THE CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAKE ALL MUSIC EXACTLY THE SAME AS WE DID BEFORE!!!! ONLY BACKWARDS MOVEMENT FROM THIS POINT ON!!!!!!!
/\ That's pretty much the vibe I got from this thread.
I don't see why people feel threatened by new emerging genres and sub genres it's not like they're going to kill dub step as you know it.

What a retarded comment.
First of all, this is nothing new, its using parts from other music, shit parts.
Nothing at all about being threatened either, I am disappointing people are actually buying it.

It wasn't an entirely serious post... And it was obviously a sweeping generalization and not really directed at any specific person in this thread.
"First of all, this is nothing new" - I disagree just because you don't see a massive jump from one genre to another instantly doesn't stop it from being new, nearly all progress in music happens over time through amalgamations of previously existing genres or rejections of ideas in previously existing genres. Occasionally you get somebody who's bat shit insane and creates a whole new genre and way of making music but that's very rare. Even if this combination of genres has been going on for 5 years, I'd still consider that new given the youthful nature of dub-step as a genre. 5 years in music is nothing.
"it's using parts from other music, shit parts" - That's subjective. Your personal view on whether an aspect of one genre is shit or not has no bearing on how other people should feel. Nor does it hold any validity whatsoever outside of your own head - because of the subjectivity of music. Nothing in music is true or false or right or wrong. It's a subjective art form - you saying something is shit isn't really enough to make it shit.
I'm not saying you can't say some music is shit, I'm just saying that if you do you're statement holds no validity or truth except to yourself and as such it is really quite irrelevant to everybody else.
"Nothing at all about being threatened either, I am disappointing people are actually buying it." - You're dissapointed in other people's choices? Why? That implies you know what they should be buying or listening to better than they do. Due to previously mentioned subjectivity you don't.

you make some good points. valid, reasonable and well argued.
But lets face it, this is moronic
we can all agree on that, can't we?

No, no we can't. Greatest dubstep song in the history of dubstep.
In fact...
Greatest song ever out of all genres and in all time.

face it music is subjective
some of the deep shit people love and praise around here i feel like i'm hearing the same shit over and over just with new bassline notes being rehashed
same with brostep or aggressive shit
same with any genre
i'm not gonna bash anyone for what they like or a genre as a whole even if i don't like it
if you can't find a sound that existed before within a genre still being produced, then you probably aren't digging hard enough, same goes for finding new sounds
if it still doesn't satisfy you, shit get producing instead of wasting time worrying what other people are doing and show them up
