err yeh you are one of those people that think they have OCD but in reality are just normal

There are no words to describe how much these people annoy me.
Funny thing is I generally find happy go lucky people really annoying, not that I can stand whingers but "troubled" people are often more intelligent, driven and passionate, all of my closest friends (and me) would be classified as depressives. I don't doubt that there's massive over diagnosis of mental illness but I know from bitter experience that it's a very real thing.
I agree that people who have been through alot are often more intelligent, and I dont deny mental illness is common; 1 in 3 (Probably more)have suffered from it at some point. And yes it can be damaging and painful.
These are the reasons it pisses me of when emo kids claim to be depressed etc. when its clearly not the case.
I get you, thankfully my exposure to emo's has been limited to once sharing a place with 24 year old emo guy, he was literally the shallowest, least troubled guy I've every met, needless to say we didn't get on. I don't see how anyone with real issues would find any comfort from some skinny guy screaming lyrics that any confused 15 year old girl could have written. Still... I sometimes listen to stuff people have called hyper-emo;

100% AGREE, I use my sleeve to open doors in public
If I go with a mate we will both be standing at the door waiting for the other one to open it, once we stood there about 2 minutes waiting until someone came in.
Your piss parts actually contain less bacteria than your hands...possibly worse bacteria...but less of it
Ah, I was going to consider pissing on my hands.
I think i'll just stick with the less harmful stuff.

Oh! now I know how the Dettol advert isnt lying when they say a babys high chair has more bacteria than a toilet seat.

I quite like that song, misleading title though.

Reminds me of this.

We're actualy covered in a natural layer of bacteria as part of our immune system, which is why overly excessive washing can be unhealthy.

its when you get all of the facebook status like 'my life is torn apart, i cant go on like this'
or some random, borderline cliche, bullshit that makes you just sit there and think
'stop whoring out your false emotions as bait for attention, and grow a pair'

its the people who keep themselves to themselves about their deeper emotions
who are more likely to be 'depressed'.. the ones who put on a false sense of happiness
for everyone else, and let their real self come out when alone.

The sarcastic asshole in me loves making people squirm by telling them my insecurities and how most of the time I just want to kill myself.
No, really.

No, really.
Lol I do this a lot. Theres some girl who I don't like a speaking too so when she speaks to me I always give her short replies, for some reason she thinks this makes me depressed so I just tell her that I'm counting the days until I kill myself or something like that. Her reactions are quite funny.

Although it seems a lot of people take suicide quite seriously and can't tell that its only a joke.

No, but I actually want to kill myself. Every day I debate whether to do it or not.
It hasn't been as bad lately, but it's always there, just lurking.

Once you really and truly except death as a viable option you open some kind of Pandoras box, and however good things are it still seems an option or likely outcome (or that's my experience).

on this note, in the town i live in there were 2 suicides this weekend and in my maths class today we were discussing. i (quite insensitivly) compared the population of my town to lemmings, and got slammed down pretty hard by everyone else in the class.( through stifled laughs)
its normally the type of joke i keep to myself but this one jus slipped out

This guy at my school is really quiet and has really low self esteem, only a few friends and is in bottom sets for everything. He has posted quite a few facebook statuses suggesting suicide and one yesterday "might go and die a lot of ppl would like that i have nothing left and all i do is make myself unhappy and others."
Thing is, he isn't the sort of person that would post that in an attention seeking way and I'm actually quite concerned about him. Do you think I should talk to him or not? I hardly really know him.
