New Dubstep Article! A MUST REVISE FOR ALL ENGLISH "FANS"

"The higher ground of dubstep has foregone such an extreme makeover over its short existence that it is incredibly difficult to spot the similarities between productions from 10 years ago and today."

Verb 1. forego - be earlier in time; go back further
2. forego - do without or cease to hold or adhere to
kick, give up - stop consuming; "kick a habit"; "give up alcohol"
3. forego - lose (s.th.) or lose the right to (s.th.) by some error, offense, or crime

None of these fit the context of your sentence. Maybe you meant "undergone"?

Also... is it really a "short existence" if it's already been around for 10 years? And has it?

This is just a minor gripe in addition to the lack of subtlety and originality that the other posters have pointed out. Sorry dude but you kind of opened yourself up to criticism here.

As long as post-dubstep is alive I think we'll be ok. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go write an Old School Future Garage tune.
