hating aggy tunes with a snare on 2 and 4 .. hearing alot of them these days
seemed like the whole point of dubstep was stripping the beat back, making the most with the least elements..
also hate people who refer to formulaic cack as "progression" .. "the sound is just progressing" etc.

love making drum patterns. (even though recently they have been getting more and more similar to each other)
love perfecting a 16/32 bar loop with slight changes and incidentals
hate never being able to leave a tune alone
hate spending ages getting a sound out and losing the will to carry on making the tune

Hate that I can't get whats in my head out properly. Love the results sometimes.
Love to smoke a joint before I make some music. Hate that I play with some reverbed sounds for a few hours instead.

Im a brostep producer, and I always try and make sure my drums sound interesting unlike most of the big name brostep i've heard
Haha I have heard plenty of 'brostep' with interesting rhythms too

. I've only noticed that a few as you say 'big name' producers seem to pay more attention to the resampled basslines than the drums in their productions.

although I hate it when I cram a track full of polyrhythms and other complicated details and after turning all the faders up, realize overall it sounds like the Tasmanian Devil peaking on acid.
Hahahaha thats a good one and it's so true. I find getting all the elements right in a track sooo hard you have to strip everything back sometimes.

another one for my list
Hate: making drums and a lead and then not being able to add anything else without cluttering up the track and generally shitifying it

Allow claps in place of snares.

A sparse, reverberating drum line is just beautiful...Especially with a layered snare, little delayed claps and a few hats...Delicious.
Also love Albino3
Synth1
I love having a rhythm with brilliant drums, bass and pads but I hate when I'm not able to expand on it and take it places.

Hate having friends and social obligations when Im trying to work. Here I am, rolling deep on an idea for a collab, and Im about to have to lug a backpack around with headphones and a laptop in it all night just to be able to keep going... Why my presence is then needed in the room, I have no idea, its not like Im being social... but thats whats pissing me off right now... and now heres tom with the weather.

Love it when a track comes together
Love it when you find the perfect sample to use
Love it when hitting a random key actually does what you want it to
Hate it when you run out of ideas of where to go in a track
Hate it when you go to sleep, wake up the next day, listen to your shit again and realize it sucks

good first post. welcome
i have so many done or close to done tunes, but my rule of thumb is if i don't dig it on repeat or after a month of listening to it, i'm not going to send or put it out, because at the end of the day i write for myself and it's great when other people like it too.
