Best thing was a guitar and amp from school, along with a load of sm58's. These days the odd drink here and there.

My mate stole and sold enough DVD's to save up for an electric drumkit, which he used for about a week but now gathers dust.

I actually have one thing I wish I'd stolen.

It was Black Sabbath Volume 4 on vinyl. They had it in the music block at school when I was there. Thought it would be difficult to subtly walk off with it so I never did. Would have saved me money and they obviously weren't gonna fucking use it again. It was in mint condition too.

on the other hand, me and may mates managed to steal 7 crates of beer from a tesco, in one go. Middle of summer, wandered in, walked around picked up a crate or two each. walked out chatting away merrily straight past the guard. Considering i work in retail, if you don't draw attention to yourself the employees will not notice and are proberly too bored and numb in the brain from working at tesco that they won't notice.

Wasn't me. But my Polish mate used to get drunk of cheap cider and the go round tescos loading up trolleys full of stuff and then just walk out under the guise of it being an act of fucking up the evil corporations and sticking a middle finger up to the disgusting age we live in.

Which made me laugh as really to everyone else he would have looked like a crazy drunk metaler just robbing and rambling to himself in a thick Polish accent.

stealing is a good way to get shit you need. I got a tripod from jessops a few weeks ago. that was a pretty good steal, a big almost empty shop with 3 woman behind the counter and I got a 2' tripod. other than that I need to be stealing more things been quite slack lately. way I see it shops build a certain percentage of stuff being stolen into their margins so if you don't nick stuff you're paying for other people to be able to. also, fuck people and their property.

began stealing at 11. It has become one of my worst, but also EXTREMELY useful habits.

now it's mostly groceries. sometimes when I was really broke I'd take $0.35 and buy mr noodles...but I would bring my bag and leave with meat, vegetables, eggs, bread, etc.

So if one week I only had like $3.00, I'm stretching that shit out daily and bringing back mad shit.

but sometimes I'd get paranoid and think the store was onto me...so I would start throwing curve balls like walking in and buying a bunch of groceries legitimately...or buying mr noodles but not stealing anything...or leaving my bag at home so they don't think "we're gonna get him this time, he has his bag!!!!"

and then I started justifying it by thinking to myself "i'm stealing from a corporation here...who cares?" but then I wouldnt steal from a corner store where the owner is literally behind the counter smiling at me and asking me how my day is.

Yeh I agree, although one time, perhaps my most heartless steal, I was in the Isles of Scilly. We went to one of the smaller islands (completely forget which one, but it had some ruins of old houses on it) and there was literally one shop on the whole island and I had no money but really fancied a drink. I felt so guilty afterwards. They have to get stock specially delivered from the mainland

worked at a festival on the bars a few years ago. robbed several crates of beer and wine and about £300 quid in one shift. the people i was with left, took the money and brought a gram of md, a gram of ket, half an ounce of weed and several packets of cigarettes. then the rest went on food the next to recover. good day that was. the only bad thing about it was that we could have stolen 2 grand easily, they were making so much money there was a point when i couldnt close my till it was so full of twenties. should have stuffed my pockets and slipped out through the front of the bar.
people that were running it were total stnuc too. not mentioning any names though!
