O SHIT
this thing is badass
user interface is nice, editing in the piano roll takes about 15 minutes to get used to but after that its painless
this thing has a lot of power. the Eden synth is really neat, 2 osc, comes with some nice waveforms (square, sine, tri, saw, sawsquare, sawtri, vintagesaw1, vintagesaw2, vintagesquare, vintagesquare2, vintagesquare3, noise, bass1, bass2, bass3, bass4, ep1, ep2, ep3, ep4, fm1, fm2, fm3, fm4, organ1, organ2, organ3, organ4, clarinet, clavichord, harps, oboe, sax, trumpet, Vox Ah, Vox Ee), but the real power lies in the fact that you can sync .wavs to NanoStudio from your PC and use those samples.
It can also ring mod, has to X/Y pads, pitch wheel that can be set to bend anywhere between +1/-1 and +12/-12, can detune the two oscillators, filters, filter ADSR, amplitude ADSR, 8 note max polyphony, reverb and delay send amounts, 4 LFOs that are syncable to 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1, and 2, an additional envelope that can be assigned to anything, and an easy to use mod matrix that can control and link pretty much everything imaginable. it's got a waveshaper and chorus/flanger/delay/x-delay.
the TRG-16 (drum pad) has 3 busses with reverb, delay, and a hp/lp/bp resonant filter. each pad can be sent to one of the 3 busses. 16 pads, samples can be loaded to any of them, can record from microphone, samples can be played regularly, reversed, or reg/rev or rev/reg. attack/release can be adjusted on each sample, key mode can be set to trigger, hold, or loop. samples can be transposed +/- 24 semitones and fine tunes +/- 1/50s of a semitone. has autotrigger that can be set to 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, or 1/32
mixer for each instrument,
two sends, a reverb and a digital delay capable of chorus, flanger, delay, and x-delay. 12 different spaces for the reverb (not really customizable but they sound pretty good)
max tempo 240, minimum 40. capable of 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, and 7/4 time signatures.
