Circle is more expensive than z3ta though?? Personally I really wanna get circle though too, can't wait till I actually have some cash flowing again and can afford it. Alchemy is on my list too, reckon circle, alchemy and ableton/reason stock synths is all Im gonna need!

Circle is £52 at best service you can pay in either euro pound or dollar, the circle website doesnt even have a security certificate and it would cost 150 euros.
For me i think what im going to do is get circle or z3ta+ and massive in the holidays, massive is way over used but i loved the demo i tried yesterday. circle has a formant filter plus a bitcrusher so im leaning towards it more than z3ta+ as the demo doesn't work so i've not been able to test it i've heard good reviews but i dont know if its any good for heavy wobbles, still if z3ta drops to $20 again might as buy it and wait for masssive if it's no what i want.

I'd highly recommend alchemy over massive any day, have you had any experience with it at all? Also for what it's worth from what I've seen circle > z3ta.

Bare in mind here I don't own any of these programs though. Used them all before but don't own any, do have the alchemy player though. So my advice may be flawed. Still, from what I've seen circle + alchemy shit on the competition mentioned.

You can't go wrong with either Circle or Z3ta.

To be fair, I haven't used Z3ta a whole lot, but I know loads of super-technical dnb/breaks/etc producers used/use it, probably because of the routing matrix being so good that you don't need to resample so much. I've heard a lot of twisty and interesting sounds come out of that synth.

However, there's something about the interface that I don't really like, either the multiple pages or the sliders instead of knobs. It's not game-breaking, but it made me not love it as much as I probably should have. Circle, on the other hand, has the best interface I've ever used on a softsynth, and I find it really easy to come up with a wide variety of sounds compared to my experience with Z3ta. No mod matrix though, so if that's your thing, you might want to reconsider.

Also, I don't know how much it is, but Audjoo Helix is worth checking out as an alternative to Z3ta. Crazy routing possibilities there. I still use the free beta version from a few years ago, and I'm sure it's improved since then.

I've used massive the demo anyway which i thought was good personally, i managed to get some of the more wobbly basslines from it too they weren't as gritty as nero or excision style basslines but it looks achievable i mean i was getting some nice wobbles just got to layer up oscillators and try different waveforms, When i did use it tho i used my keyboard and not my midi keyboard so i had some wery low noises and some very high pitch noises which works great in some circumstances. Might try the demo again to see if i can get a really heavy bass
