Quite a bit later, so not necessarily "classic" detroit but the Jeff Mills soundtrack to Metropolis is incredibly lush, moving music. Highly recommended

All this talk about jeff mills ..i know that kat moda ep was mentioned but "the bells" specifically was such a monster of a tune for a while...I couldnt get any detroit tapes or go to parties with out hearing it...

Infiniti-Game One. First time I heard this played out I flipped. When it goes all woozy and washy-amazing. The Moritz mix on the flip is really weird and trippy too.
