Lets be honest, thats a bit of a cheat answer, reaktor can do anything and everything haha.

At the moment for me its Sylenth 1. I'm writing everything on this beast.
Yo man, haven't tried Sylenth 1, I'll have to give the demo a go....btw I had a listen to your tracks....nice production man :) keep it up!
Safe mate! give it a go, its a beast of a synth, it can do everything the big players can do and better I personally think

Plus its an independant developer so if you buy it you know its going to put bread on his table not for a new BMW.

yea its a fucking beast. closest sounding vst to a hard synth. it has 12 oscs 8 normal oscs and 4 waveshaping oscs (meaning you can use wave files and soundfonts as extra layers.) its based on a clavia nord 2 hard synth and ya can import clavia presets in to it. also has 4 effects sections 4 filter sections 8 different a d s r sections its just awesome.

Dood, I went a searching, and found a simple 2 osc synth with only a filter envelope and an amp envelope. I think I missed the mark.

I'm not seeing all that functionality there. It does look like a 2 osc synth. Must be depth there.

It does look pretty bog-standard.

I'm pretty much settled on Alchemy, Albino, Blue, Surge, and Massive as my favorites. I want to get into operator but is it just me or are the modulation capabilities extremely limited on it?

Surprised at the lack of love for Omnisphere and Trillian.

Its probably due to the lack of processing power to run it haha.. I can afford it I just can't run it...

I sometimes cry myself to sleep over it, if Iam honest.

More like the harddrive space. Fucker comes with a shit ton of presets and I don't think I've ever used a preset even once so that's a nice slice of my HD devoted to redundancy. :x

Yea this is probably true.

Can anyone point me in the direction of Synth that has something similar to the "Performance" envelope on NI Massive? I want something that is like a bigger and better version of the same thing.

yea i know you can do this on flstudio because i've seen it used like that on tutorial videos. i use a mac though....flstudio + mac = no go (unless i run it on a virtual machine....and that's just long).

i like to stay away from logic's automation if i can. the playback has a life of it's own with specific plugins..especially if the track is starting to get cpu heavy. that's why i'm looking for a synth that has a performance tool like feature (make an env loop that's 1/2/4 bars long and send it to cutoff ect).

I quite like Olga and FM8 but Sculputre is the don.
