we organised it last week (man make music) and had DnB, jackin/ electro house/ techno aswell on the night, but hired Abacus' soundsystem, who are doing this dubstep only one... Trust me their system is baaad!

yep, those mans did that party last week, not this girl, and that one was a private warehouse party while this is a squat/free (as in freedom, not free entry!) party. but our abacus soundsystem at both. i heard that party last week was rammo! and loads of fun. sad to have missed it. when i heard how packed that one was, i started to get worried our building being too small... :o should be good though!

i posted in the other roll call thread, i'm a bit worried about capacity. the place isn't that big. i'll try my best that we don't cram it uncomfortably full but its going to be a juggle!

set times: get there early for macabre unit around 1:45!!! (as if 1:45 is early) they're going to get everyone HYPPPPPPED. and rootsteady before that holding it down. and hxw before that and a me and synthektik and easychord, all between 10pm and macabre unit. then loefah/kode9/ntype from 2:30ish 'til 6ish, not necessarily in that order because i gotta sort it out with them. then bracket for a little wake up jungle set, i think $hy after that, mission creep and pathfinder. am i missing anyone? can't remember. thats roughly what i'm thinking. 8)

haha, yea i would DIE if i was doing this on my own! abacus is a crew of quite a few people, we (mostly) live together and the soundsystem is a house project. awww. i'm just the biggest dubstep head/fangirl in the crew so i headed up this party so that we could have a party that i was really excited about. but no way i'm doing it alone, you're right mate its SO MUCH WORK. promo, opening the building, occupying the building at all times for the past two weeks, major cleaning and repairs, setting up the soundsystem, doing door, doing bar, going to court, dealing with the neighbours, dealing with the owners, dealing with the fire alarms!, dealing with large crowds of people... . :o its a LOT.

but fingers crossed it will all go down well and it will be all worth it!! now you know where your £5 goes to... (to more speakers mostly)

:o hehe...didnt even realise ur a dubstep girl...major respects comin ur way. always find it difficult finding women into this kinda music, most complain about the music being too loud or the bass wrecking there oh soo mampered hair. gives me a sence of relief knowing theres women like you out there.

now i know how much effort has gone into this, be assured, some major skanking will be had :x (skank face).

peace out to ur fine self, ruid gul :8:
