so yes, we can "accept" it as natural selection...

but there comes a time when intelligence overrides and you learn to not "accept" it on a moral level, because it is just a primal reaction that people do not act on very well.

Not really about being a fan - you can't ignore him completely. A lot is about giving up on the idea that 'enlightenment' produces human beings free from primitive drives and recognizing your own potential to be inhuman. Ultimately this can lead to greater caution and understanding

oh no, dont get me wrong, i dont ignore anything he says, i've studied him through and through...

im not a fan because some of his stuff makes so much sense to me, and feels right, and then my psychology professor would just laugh and tell me why he's wrong

so i'm just frustrated that most of his ideas have been disproven

racism is a product of natural selection? i don't follow the logic, i thought different races developed through micro evolution depending on environment? how does that translate into it being beneficial for us to to "form in-groups and out-groups?" not having a go at you, just trying to understand what you mean.... i've only taken 1 anthropology class

Natural selection does not mean that you have chosen anything.

It means that the earth has either knocked your genetic off or not..

You can argue that breeding stategy applies as natural or whatever -
but that "choice" is a by product of supply and demand - and is a result of human intervention.

And you can argue that everything a human or anything that anything does is natural because everything is natural..

and maybe penguins are inbred to extremes - and that's been an exception
to breeding stategy...
