Just wanted to point out he was 7 years old when the tune came out.

I'd gather someone could find a classic tune you were unaware of when you were 7 years old.

by the time he was 14 years old dillinja was well fucking terrible

juat wanted to point out I was only 12 years old when it came out (i think) it doesnt matter when a tune came out i listen to music from generations ago . im just saying he hand't even heard of it and it's an all -time classic jungle tune. i'd roll my eyes in real life too

i wish more people listened to 95-era Dillinja, i think the world would be a better place. Dubstep would certainly be a more interesting genre

haha you must not have a very good set of ears then, or you just don't listen to a lot of excision. that's where the heavily distorted bassline comes from, it's metal roots. bar 9 and excision have made better metal tunes than a lot of metal artists....

Excision and Datsik both have quality deeper tunes. Tragic to see people on these boards pigeonhole artists without even giving them a thorough listen.

that's a pretty negative way to react. Who cares if he hasn't heard the dillinja track, not everybody was a jungle head before they became a dubstep producer (I speak for myself as well). If anything, I'd say it's more interesting that when a dubstep producer draws influence from outside the confines of jungle/dnb/grime/dub. Lewis B is a good example of this, I bet he listens to tons of jazz and soul records, and probably not so much jungle.

speaking of which do you enjoy metal? i hear it too much in your dubstep and i'd hate to be wrong.

Ugh Excision represents the worst of Canadian dubstep. His supposed best two songs are terrible and boring as hell. Comparing him to metal is even more LOL.

The tune is the last one in his 2010 Shambhala mix. Excision & Downlink - 2005. He said at the festival that he made it for the Village system.
