Gen3.. Well, it started going downhill from there. Some of the Gen3 pokemon are cool whilst others can go and rot away in the forgotten section of the day care center.

also, they've kinda painted themselves into a corner for doing reboots... like first the awesome pokemon were just really good at fire ice electric psychic... then they started moving continents and flooding everything, now they can fucking fly through space and stop time
